January is sure turning out to be a really creative month for the gallery! It’s really been hopping – and I know I missed a lot of pages. Here are 5 that the Cheery-O’s picked out that caught our eyes:

I was first drawn to this page because I love the realistic look here and the string tying it all together. But then I looked at the credit list – products from NINE different designers were used! What a great way to showcase our talented designers and to stretch one’s stash.

The first thing about this layout that captured my attention was the bold, bright colors contrasted with the dark oval and black stamps on the corners. The combination is so powerful. The panel of elevated canvases across the middle look so touchable. It looks like even there is some masking behind that panel of photos, which adds depth and even more intrigue. There is so much wonderful detail, the more I look the more I see.

I love the way the background draws your attention to the middle of the page, where the photo is blended into the background. That cute smile just pops! The subtle scribbles accent the photo well.

A New Year by LindyShay

The fun angle of the photo made this layout jump out at me from the gallery. I really like all the layered and stacked bits, and the pops of festive gold. It’s a wonderful page to welcome a new year!

The Trip from Hell

This caught my eye immediately because this is one of my favorite color palettes – yellow and blue. These light shades feel like spring and summer. I love the mask Anke created and how the image on it generates a lot of energy. The elements are perfect for the theme. Great layering and wonderful framing and composition for the photo collage. Well done!
