Art Journaling ~ Scrap Those Feelings!
Art journaling isn’t just about making a pretty page. It can be, but sometimes art journaling is used to work through feelings that you just don’t know how to heal any other way. When I first started art journaling, it was for Created by Jill. Jill asked me to be on her design team to show that one could do “traditional” scrapping with her “artsy” kits. Little did she know that it would turn me to the “dark side” (LOL) . and want to art journal more. One reason it started to be a style that I wanted to do was that there was a situation that I just couldn’t heal from and I had shared it with her. She told me to scrap it, and put hidden journaling and just type my feelings. It was very cathartic, and there are still times when nothing but sitting down and scrapping will help me to put words to my feelings.
Here is one of those pages. I was having really tough time forgiving myself for falling into old habits and thought processes…so I scrapped it. My journaling was hidden in the background.
