Art Journaling ~ Welcome 2025!

SusiePBlog

Welcome to the Art Journaling side of oScraps!!! I am constantly amazed at the talent that just keeps growing and growing at our little home! I am so grateful for all of you who have joined our little challenges and challenged yourselves to grow in your AJ talent!

The challenge for this month is the concept of {RESET}. When thinking of topics to use for the year, our team collaborated on a list of topics and whittled them down to 12. Each month, Sonja, Cheryl, Chris, and I will be putting our own unique spin on the topic.

Sonja is our Week 1, and she always does such a great job of introducing the topic for us all! She says, “Welcome to 2025, and a new series of Art journaling challenges.
For January we want you to explore the theme of “reset” in your art journal to reflect on fresh starts, new beginnings, and the power of letting go. Use this as an opportunity to express yourself, process emotions, and envision your goals for a personal reset.

What does “reset” mean to you?
What emotions surfaced during this process?
How can you incorporate the idea of resetting into your daily life?
Tips:

Don’t overthink it—this is about expression, not perfection.
Try using mixed media: paint, pens, washi tape, or anything else you have on hand.
Enjoy the process and let your intuition guide you.”

Reset is a big one for me as through my journaling and praying, that word hit home with me and has become the word of the year for me.

So, what does reset mean to you? Here is one of the pages by AmandaJK that has been uploaded, chosen randomly!
