Cheery-O Favorites | November 1st ~ 7th
Hello and welcome to a new week of Cheery-O Favorites. Cheryl here to bring you our five layouts for this week that were chosen by the Cheery-O’s from our wonderful Oscraps gallery. I really enjoy reading “why” they chose them, as well. Here are our week’s five “favorites”.
Selected by Chris (aka faerywings)
Dream in Colors by Wimmeke
This bright colorful page seemed adorable and fresh surrounded by the mostly autumn-colored LOs in the gallery. But as I looked closer, I thoroughly enjoyed the small details of the water droplets and paint drips. The girl looks delighted to be relaxing with fish, and who would be? This is utterly enchanting!

Van Gogh Inspiration Challenge by Robloz55
I love Robynne’s take on the Inspiration Challenge this month which features Vincent van Gogh. The colours are stunning and the scene she has created is just fantastic! I also love the whole painterly feel of this page, looks like she did indeed use a paintbrush! Stunning layout!

Sweater Weather by musicmom3
What’s not to love here? A beautiful child in a wonderful cozy sweater and cap that has all of that love knit into it. The extraction is beautifully done and I love the “wondering” look on his face. The background is perfection the way everything melds together beautifully. Add all of the textures and elements AND that blended photo taken from behind is the piece de resistance.
Selected by Kay (Bright Eyes)
The masked background of bare tree limbs and the other framed photos of bare trees capture the cold of winter time.
The blanket and the shelf of books say it is time to stay inside and snuggle down and read.
The choice of rose-brown in the background with 2 spots of red give warmth that can still be found on a winter’s day.
Love the journaling.

Somewhere in France by Betty Jo
The photo treatment (I’d like to know what it is) combined with the amazing photo is pure magic and a homerun hit out of the ballpark. I hope it is framed and hanging on the wall. I can almost smell the pink blossoms on the tree and feel the fragrant breeze fluttering them onto the page.I’m thinking the bird is ready to take off and down to perch in the tree. If birds can smell I want to be a bird. The clustering along the sides is all that is needed to embellish this.
Aren’t these pages gorgeous?? It’s wonderful to have five layouts handpicked from our gallery and they are all equally gorgeous!
And remember, if you see your page chosen, you are entered into a monthly random drawing for a gift certificate from the OScraps store!
Join us next week for more Cheery-O Favorites.
