Have you checked out this month’s challenges? We have had a lot of planning meetings and we have come up with a plan for the year: We will have a word of the month (WOM) and each week will be a different take on that word. This month is “REFLECT”.

Week 1 was:

Choose a word that reflects on the past year or use the word “reflect” as a title.
Create a page that showcases your reflections, using colors and/or pictures or images that represent the highs and lows of the previous year.

Week 2: This week we want you to Reflect on the past year and scrap about something you will change this year. This is very open to your own creativity, but here are some quotes about change or reflecting that might get your motor started! In life, there are many things that we can change and many things that we cannot change. Things we can change include our attitudes, beliefs, habits, perspectives, and behaviors. We also have the power to change our environment, our career, our relationships, and our goals.

We also added a mood board with a color palette if you so chose to do it that way.

We just started week 3:

We’re still using the word “reflect” or “reflection“. I’d like for you to scrap one picture that’s a reflection of some important or memorable event from last year (2023). Also, please use that word for your title, or as a part of your title.

Why look back to the past – in the spirit of this challenge, to the past year? Sometimes we need to look back before we look forward. I did some poking around online about “looking back”, and there was surprisingly quite a bit on this topic. I found some quotes that really stood out to me and I used one of them on my sample layout. Feel free to use any of them.
