Hybrid: Souvenir Cover
Having recently returned from a short Easter vacation, I had lots of bits and bobs from our trip i.e. ticket stubs, maps etc. As a traditional scrapbooker, I would use them on my layouts. However, as a digital scrapper, I can only scan the items that I want and use them on my digital page. However, being a sentimentalist, I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away. In the past, I would just put them in a plastic bag and store them in a cupboard. However, this time, I decided that I would want them to be stored properly. I placed them in a plastic pocket. Then, I made use of Sue Cumming’s 52 Project No13 to create a cover for it.
I placed them in a folder. In future, all souvenir items will go into the folder and be clearly labelled. So not only will it serve as a storage space but be an album for these bits to be viewed at from time to time.
Oh this is just brilliant!!!! I stored mine the same way – ziploc baggies – not very appealing. I’m going to have to do this from now on!
Nice idea!
