Cynthia asked how I achieved the look on my You Are layout....

Instuctions for YOU ARE layout….
I started with my base image that I created using this tutorial (Bright Eyes) I wrote a few years back, you can find it on my blog.

The finished image is what I used for the base of my layout. I added Artsy Paper page 5 from ArtPlay “Loved” kit on the next layer, using the blend mode HUE. I went back to layer one (base) and added a mask. I used it to mask out some of the area to the left of the image {white area, so the artsy paper would show through (I love using the gradient brush to mask areas, it gives a softer look then just using your brush and erasing areas you don’t want).
Once I got the look I wanted I just kept adding layers of texture, strokes, lighting effects, bokah.
