I'll take the cake and leave the frosting. When I was a teen, I helped a family friend in her bakery. The first day she told me to eat anything and as much as I wanted. I kept dipping the frosting out of a huge barrel and eating that while I frosted cookies and cakes. By the second day I never wanted to see frosting again, much less eat it. She knew what she was doing because it turned me off most all sweets for years. Still, to this day, I don't like the frosting on cake, or it has to be very, very thin.
