The traditionalist was my fav so far. But there was no size requirement so I went 12x24 instead of 3600x7200, so two pages, to accommodate all the photos. I thought free spirit was going to be my fav but I ended up really struggling with that one.

So far my fave category was the shapeshifter which was no surprise as that what came up in my style quiz.

OMG! Have you all seen the last round? The Eclectic is going to *kill* me! :faint: 30 embellishments. 3 different of 10 kinds? Plus 5 different patterned papers? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

And somehow when I read about the eclectic style I thought of something totally different. lol

I'm probably the only one cheering for the eclectic style right now LOL. It'll probably be the easier one for me.

Any tips, Rae? I did the Abstractionist first because I knew that would be aa bit easier. I figured that as a worst case scenario, I could literally throw up (ok, not literally! but digitally throw up) every last element from my stash onto a LO for the Eclectic one and it would look basically the same.

Yay, I'm done with this. I hope that my portfolio present me well, I tried to add the most important things about myself.
It was long and exhausting journey, definitely I'm disappointed. But I learned for myself that when I have to follow recipe this make my creativity to struggle. I think now I'm tired from whole scraping. :bolt::sleep:

 felis, I can relate! I finished all 8 Challenges and now I have to upload my final compilation. I am both feeling"not good enough" but pretty darn proud at the same time. I didn't think I would be able to do all of the Challenges, but I did and I really do feel that I tried some new things. So that is how I have to look at it.

Any winners from the O?
Hope that all of you did great!

Done, all 8 finished and uploaded!
learned some new things, style names I had not heard before,
but also found out I am pretty rusted and happy with my own style?
Always felt like a free spirit, not because I knew what it meant but as soon as I read the "no rules" part, I thought that is me!
geometric is what the test came up with!
and I learned that traditional is not the same as paperscrapping!!

Abstractionist is done. Eclectic is too scary to contemplate. Clustering is so hard for me and either 10 different types of elements being required, it is too daunting.

I am all done, whew! I still don't feel like I have a "style" but my quiz came up as Abstractionish (lots of paint) and Free Spirit (AJ-y) which feels pretty close.

Cindy- FWIW, I am not good at clustering and I didn't do much clustering at all on that LO. I used 3 different stitches and 3 different tapes hold down my photos. That kind of thing. The only things that I clustered in a very loose sense, were 3 flowers (with three brads in the centers) and three tags. Hopefully that counts in the rules.

I added paintsplatters, brushes and staples,
they are easy to "hide" in your page!

I completed all of the challenges as well and it was way harder than I anticipated. I few times I really thought about not finishing but I pushed through and learned a few things about myself-mostly that I don't like following rules when I scrap!

I am done. Thankfully. lol

I ended going 12x24 on the eclectic page. I just couldn't live with all those elements on a smaller page. I do remember now why I always did two page spreads when I was a paper scrapper. lol

Well congrats ladies,
I think we are all winners, finishing 8 layouts!
Looking at the number of entries that started this competition, and completed all challenges, our chances of winning have doubled! good luck everyone!

:pound: Rules, shmules... I don't like them either. I learned a bit about myself and one thing that I learned is that I shouldn't be intimidated by other people's LOs. I know that I am not a "Master," but I can make a page that looks good!

Cindy- great idea on making a double page for that last one.

Excellent point on doubled chances for winner, Diane.

I don't know how they chose the winners, it must have been so hard b/c everyone created such wonderful pages. I definitely think we are all winners if we tackled all 8 challenges and completed them!

ITA Rae! I couldn't believe how many fabulous pages were created for the tournament.

I managed to get 7 out of 8 challenges finished but couldn't get the eclectic one done and didnt stress over it. I was really happy with most of my pages but think the abstractionist and free spirit ones were my faves.

Oh, Jane! So close! Good for you for not stressing over it.

Rae- I have no idea how the Judges were able to narrow down their top LOs. Insane.

felis- I didn't notice any O-zies that won (please corrects me if I am wrong, so I can give a shout out) but ehstudios/Elisa used to be a Cheery O here a while ago.

Yes I saw few of the Notables to use Oscraps kits, but I wasn't familiar with the usernames, so I was curious :brushteeth:.
