I also meant to mention that sometimes they go to sleep if they haven't been moved in a while. When that happens I just click somewhere on the screen a couple of times and that usually reactivates it. If that doesn't work, just flip the on/off switch.
I should probably try the Logitech, then. I have a wireless mouse, but it just lags and sometimes won't even move. Grrrrrrrrr
I'm going to try turning it off and back on. I did unplug and replugged into into the side of my laptop, but didn't think of turning it off. Thanks for that idea.

Logitech are excellent mice. If I didn't have my Mac Mouse, I would have a Logitech. We've had them in the past.

I must have wireless, too. I saw one for smaller hands, which I also have. They even make them for big hands. I had no idea there were so many choices.

Well, I spent a LOT of time looking at all of them and reading SO many reviews. In the end, for my purposes, I chose the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Wireless Mobile Mouse, Black - it's rechargeable and what finally sold me was the size. I have small hands and this new mouse had to be comfortable. It was $54.95, so I think it will be a good one. If I don't like it, I can return it to Amazon. Here's what sold me.
I have been wireless for years. I hate cords and I forgot to add that it had to be wireless. I bought one - I just answered Zanthia's question as to what I got.My mouse is wireless, and I take whatever Gary has in the attic. He's a "collector."
I think mine is a Logitech too but not sure. The one thing they have to have is a scroll wheel. Can't work without the wheel.

Thats's pretty too, Lynn. I got mine yesterday and love it. WHY did I not know about Logitech before?I use a Logitech Lift mouse, so much better ergonomically. Surprisingly easy to adapt to, but I can never go back now!
