Whoa...where is everyone? It's 10 o'clock at night here in Iowa...and it's sure quiet at the O! Cool and rainy today...so what else is new? It's rainy here most of the summer nowadays.:fish2:

Spent lots of time at Mom's today and tonight. She's having more trouble breathing now. Dad's really having a hard time with it! It just makes him so sad...

Hope to see some of your smiling faces in here tomorrow.
 
It is like a ghost town in here. whoooo! whooooo! I hope everyone is out enjoying their weekends. I know I'm trying. I was a little too overwhelmed to hop in here for the past couple of days. WE found out Friday that the owner of our house does not want to re-lease our house. She doesn't like our dog or the management company so I believe she is firing us both. That means we have to find a new place to live. Derek and I decided we are going to move into base housing. That way our costs will go down drastically. I know we will save at least $400 a month if not more with gas and food. Derek is not so thrilled about it. He hates the idea of living on post, but I got my head wrapped around it quickly and I think it will be a good thing. It will suck to leave the neighbors but we'll hopefully have great new neighbors. My biggest issue at the moment is finding boxes. Hopefully we'll be doing that soon. Derek and I will be going to the housing office tomorrow and I will also see about getting Addie enrolled in PreK. I'm excited about that. I am also hoping to find a school that has any kind of accelerated program for Ethan. I am so afraid he will get bored. So, we'll go check things out and see what will be going on then. I'll be living closer to Andrea which will be fun. Her husband is deploying again soon so hopefully I can keep her company while he's gone. If we move in where we are thinking about we will live only about 5 minutes away. I saw her yesterday and little Walter is getting so big and is just full of smiles. So, that's my world.

Good Morning !! Wow it really is quiet in here!! I guess Chris is busy with her birthday celebrating?? We are off today to the In-Laws to help out with the church annual BBQ it is at the In-Laws place this year as they have a huge fire pit and lots of property with Lake front so a perfect place to be on a Sunny Sunday afternoon. Gary's Dad does not BBQ so he has been assigned the job, not sure what I will be doing? Probably lots of dishes!! But it was nice that they asked us to help out, because that does not happen too often, they are so stubborn when it comes to that! Oh well it should be a fun afternoon and we will get to spend it outside so that's great!

Clara - that is too bad that you have to move!!! But what a significant savings it will be for you! My son is the same as your hubby, he does not like the idea of living in Base housing, not sure why?? I hope you get to be where you want and how great would it be to be so close to your good friend!!

Laurie - I am sending prayers for your mom, enjoy each moment with her, I hope that her breathing gets easier, so scary to watch your parents get older and see their health deteriorate!! :kiss: to you and your family.

I know I have been majorly MIA for a while but not a day goes by where I don't think of you all.

I am having one last cup of coffee, waiting for cait to get out of the shower so i can dry my hair and then we are off to my moms.

Good morning. Clara, sorry to hear about the housing. However, saving money is always a good thing. :-) Hope you get your boxes.

Trudy, it sounds like you have a marvelous day ahead. I would so love to have a place on a lake with a fire pit! Hope you get at least some of the relaxation...that it isn't all work for you.

morning - busy day yesterday still playing catch up today- so much to do when nice weather hits, and so little time- why can't the chores even out some?? We also are dealing with ill relatives- mr gorgeous brother called to say his sister called (great communication this family) to say mom was dying- her swallowing is going- not really sure what it means or how imminent it is- she doesn't recognize anyone anymore and lives 14 hours away. Not sure what he will do- go now or later. I will have to wait until later. There is always prayer though, isn't there.
