Weekend O's - July 9 & 10

MY plans- keep an eye on the dog to see if his problems stemmed from us leaving him with a different pet care provider, and all afternoon- dance- coaching lessons with travis and group lessons with travis and kristen (she tried out for so you think you can dance and made it past the first try outs) I will be exhuasted- note to self- go turn up the hot tub. And scrap and laundry and and and!
Good morning!
I am reveling in the peace and quiet inmy house. Both kids stayed over at my mom's last night. Gary ended up going upstate NY with his friend for the weekend. He didn't want to go, but I kind of pushed him too. I think he'll feel better if he gets out of the house, ya know?
I am just puttering a bit right now, and then I am going to go play in the dirt. I hope I can get some scrap time in too.

Linda S- hugs to you and hugs and prayers to Mom. I am sorry that she is in so much pain. I wish I could take some of it from her.
Its a great thought that she is able to enjoy the g-kids.

Hi ladies.....
I hope that everyone will have a good weekend. I mostly just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all...I miss everyone terribly!!!
No good changes for me unfortunately and this is why I am still so MIA.

Hope you had a nice time relaxing and watching the stars. Scott took out his telescope last night and I got some awesome peeks at the moon.
I am up and at 'em today. i didn't get too much time to myself yesterday, since Scott wanted to come home a bit earlier that I had expected. But I OD'd on watching The Tudors on Netflix (5 episodes in 24 hours LOL) and then we watched Finding Nemo together. i love that movie. Cait and Gary are both coming home today so I want to get the house tidied before they get here and proceed to wreck it again. hahah!

I'm home for awhile this morning. Spent the night at mom's. Meds at 10 pm, 11 pm, 1 am, 3 am, 4 am, 6 am and 7 am. I'm a bit tired.
She's talking a lot in her sleep now. I sleep in a recliner next to the hospital bed in the family room. We leave the lights on. Sydney stays too. The good news is that it is getting Dad some rest...he won't leave the house.
My nephew turns 18 on Thursday and he has a ball game that night. So, we are going to celebrate today. Steak, steak kabobs, cheeseburgers, homemade peach cobbler, homemade potato salad (my Grandma's recipe...mom's mom...she was born on this day in 1903...we buried her on my 30th birthday).
Sorry for the depressing update. I think that this may be the last week. Prayers and good thoughts appreciated. Love all of you.

Praying for you of course- the blessing is you are nearby and can be there. Praying for your family. I have been to church, the grocery stores & dropped stuff off at goodwill that has been in and out of my car 2-3 times- today was the day. I am off to enjoy the sun and pull some weeds- very therapeutic- thinking and weeding- wish it were as easy to pluck the things I don't want from me- well it is, but just like weeds sometimes you don't get the root and they return. Enjoy your day-
