Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends- I think Chris may have gone to the beach- I thought she mentioned that- hope so and that she is having a great time. My spring 50-60 weather is gone and 32 degree weather has returned- knew it was only a matter of time. Oh well. Today, cleaning and dance lesson- not sure what else.

Oh Laurie, I bet you are right about Chris. A long holiday weekend and the beach...hope she's having a good time.

Our weather is turning back to cold again here as well.But it can't last much longer...or at least that's what I keep telling myself. Shaun starts swimming lessons again today and we have friends coming for dinner tonight. Good thing that the antibiotic seems to already be kicking in and I'm feeling better.

I'm hoping to get a little scrapping in as well. Oh, and I must not forget the gallery...I've been a slacker this week.
 
Yeah ladies, Chris is off on vacation this weekend! She posted it on my CT site but never told anyone over here!!!!!!

Yeah our February thaw might be over too...

when jeff was leaving work this morning... supposed to snow more tonight.. Yippeee!! Yosemite is going to look amazing on Monday!
 
Birds are singing down here...I am in capris for the first time since probably oct! Yep...had to shave that winter beard!! Sorry...TMI!!!

Today I am making some spinach dip for a ladies luncheon tomorrow then I'm going to pick up my mom and we are going to bbsit my baby nieces!!!!! I haven't held them in a few weeks, so it will be zoo marvelous! Ohhhh, I have to remember to change out my camera battery!

And one more thing...my cousin had a little girlie, Isabella, two days ago, and apparently her heart stopped or something like that and she lost oxygen , so she's got a "cooling cap" on, just like my Lillian's cooling blanket when she was born. you know I believe in the power of prayers and miracles, so if you could join me in praying for little Isabella and her mom and daddy, I would soooo appreciate it.

(Lillian will be nine in two weeks!! Now that is a miracle! I hope to update her site with a video of her being obnoxious!!! LOL! Http://lillianclar.com)

You guys have a great weekend filled with fun and lots of smiling! I'll be beck tomorrow late afternoon to play!!! I need to get my scrapping on!!!

How is everyone doing this weekend. I am having the laziest day. I want to motivate...but that would take a lot of work. Actually, I'd like to go to my church tonight. They have a missionary there who actually spoke at my church in Washington. How small this world is. Plus his work in the Middle East is so amazing and inspiring. I would love to hear more about it and may take Ethan with me. I need to see about it. Okay, off to check on that. Hugs guys.
 
Hey all just checking in to see how everyone is doing! Good here, can't complain but it has gotten chilly again. I recently discovered my daughter hates baths. But LOVES showers so now every three days I have company in the shower lol. Glad to see Chris ran off for the weekend! I swung by yesterday morning but the O's weren't posted yet so I figured I'd come back but then I got distracted and forgot.

Sally - Oh :( I hope baby Isabella is ok. I will keep her in my thoughts <3

Clara - I hope you find the motivation you need!


(All the motivation I need to scrap is that Kaylyn is sleeping! lol)
 
Hi ladies!!

Just popping in for a minute....

I have had a nasty stomach bug for the last few days. All this pretty weather and could not even enjoy it!!! BUMMER!!!

Feeling a I had soup for dinner last night...first meal in two days!!
So I am on the mend now...I get to have one more day off from babysitting tomorrow, so that will a good thing....I am hoping to actually get something done :)

LindaS...sweetie...I know how you are feeling...I had that crud for two and half months!!!! I am happy the antibiotic is working for you!!
 
Morning everyone, popping in quickly to say hi and then its housework and hopefully a nice long walk again today with my MG. Sun is shining and fresh snow on the mountains, its truly a beautiful day!! Perhaps I can get one more challenge finished before the chores.

Nana Linda - hope your stomach bug has left you today! Soup for supper, welcome to my world LOL

I always enter my name with the idea i love the designer and it would be great to be chosen, but if not- then it was not meant to be at that time- perhaps in the future- I can use the time I would have scrapped for other things- like clearing the clutter that I was sure was going to happen, but hasn't yet this year!!
 
Thanks, girlies for all the prayers!! Baby Isabella is off of the ventilator, breathing on her own and is off the cooling cap now, too!! She had an MRI and EEG today...haven't heard anything else! Thanks again for your great thoughts and prayers!

I hope everyone had a fabulous fabulous weekend! And how many of you have one more day?? I am thinking of taking tomorrow to realign our school. I have to do this frequently to make sure I'm still on track. I'm kind of a distracted mom right now with my crazy business and everything else I do (you guys know me!! LOL!!), so realigning happens fast!! :)

Laurie and Trudy...you guys don't lose heart...You guys are such inspiration and positive influences here that it's a joy to be scrapping friends with you! :) :) :)

Ha, Ha...Laurie we can cry in our beer together, or better yet make that white wine please and move over girl, I want a place in your hot tub too!! LOL
 
Sorry Trudy- I had the wine over dinner with mr gorgeous and it's now raining on Sally's Monday- off to start a new thread!
