Good morning! I am back home after three days at my moms. I'd say it felt good to sleep in my own bed last night, but sadly I had a really hard time sleeping. I listen to my ipod when I fall asleep or if I wake up in the middle of the night. But in all of the insanity of trying to get home, I left my purse and my ipod at my mom's. That left my brain to go all kooky on me while trying to sleep.
The garage sale went pretty good- had decent weather. hot but heck, its July. sold a lot of stuff. We didn't have big items, so I was very pleased to make about $150.
The worst part of it all was that between my kids fighting and my parents fighting and me being the referee of it all, I was FRIED by the time I got home. It was a very difficult and frustrating weekend. i told th ekids that if they even looked at each other wrong, they were going to be grounded today- no way can I deal with it.
Laurie- I am so sorry to hear about your FIL. My grandfather died very soon after my grandmother. We felt the same way- he was lost w/o her and there was no reason for him to fight any more.
I hope that he is not in pain. Sending huge hugs to you!
