Happy Saturday, no work, but still a full day. Yes Linda I really did wake up to snow and ice- schools that were not on vacation took an ICE day. It melted by noon, but the commute was slow. Today my house is besieged by ants- I usually get them in the spring and ant buttons do the trick. This year they are particularly pesty, and decided they loved my kashi breakfast cereal- those are some demented ants. I only eat it for the fiber- not the taste! Oh well off to create, shower and get ready for the day- it includes- wait for it- saturday- must be.....

Glad it didn't last Laurie! Yesterday when Sydney and I went to get her backpack from school, her teacher gave us the snowboots and snowpants and said, "Surely we won't need these again." I sure hope she's right!

Shaun has a birthday party to go to so we did a quick Target run this morning. Now we are just waiting to drop him off. And then Sydney and I are going to do something fun! Don't know for sure what that means!
 
Laurie that is toooo funny about the cereal.
It is freezing here in NJ- thankfully no ice/snow- except or garden pond has a sheet of ice over it.
I want summer!!!

Linda S- that is awesome that you and Syd had a girls day planned.

Cait is having a sleepover weekend at my mom's, so Gary, Scott and I watched a zombie movie last night.:cool:
Not sure what is up for today. I am not feeling good- Lyme flare is hitting me, thankfully not as bad as they used to be, but just feeling blah and yummy and head scramble-y.

Chris....sorry it's so cold for you too...we are chilly...but the sun is shinning today...finally!!! So it's bearable!! Sorry you are feeling bad today ((HUGS))

Cameran and I went a photo shoot today...LOL..that sounds funny for me!! We went up the mountain above his house...and just picked a road to turn down, and we found the really old abandoned house just sitting in a small field, with few flowers growing and all the vines all over the house...Cameran said it was creepy, but I thought it was kind of cool...so we went over and took some pics...then next to where I parked there was stream with a bunch of rocks...a BOYS dream!!! So that made for some great photos!! Then off to the duck pond....he had not been this year yet...so we took a bunch more photos there too! He had fun....then I met Traci and picked up Jesse....so I have both boys tonight. And according to Cameran, he will be with us on Sunday night too LOL!!

Hi... last days were not so good for me... My Peter has work only to the end of April, and we have to look for sth new... He worked there 23 years, and it's difficult now for him... and for me too...
and Easter nearer and nearer... again not together... grr...
but we'll menage, I believe...!!
 
Hey girlies...

just wanted to let you know that I'm partying in spirit on Sunday morning!! I'm not sure when I'll get back but we are traveling to Austin (3 hrs away) for Quentin's State gymnastics meet. He has to make a 75 in his all-around score to qualify for Regionals which is in New Orleans in two weeks! (we have our hotel room already!!). He hasn't gotten any lower than a 78 this year, so we are expecting a high score!! Keep praying for him, please.

AND KEEP PARTYING!!! don't forget Laura's chat at 9pm EST Sunday night. I hope to be here in time for it!! :)

This sinus infection is full blown today- literally blown- bet I get my day off on Monday to go to the dr's and bet I miss church today cause using a full box of tissues during palm sunday service is probably not a great idea- especially when you are in the health care field.

ya, just recently. it's my userid everywhere else lol so I got it changed here :)

parents are still here, I'm sad I missed all the festivities. They leave on tuesday and I'll be here with a vengeance then lol. I really need to scrap scrap scrap!
 
Well, made it to church and spent several hours afterwords shopping for a new dishwasher that won't leak, and a new refrig that is more energy efficient. Got both and a bill to go with it! Oh well. They can't be delivered until mid April, but I have gone this long without a dishwasher a little longer won't hurt! I need to scrap some. pretty sure I am taking tomorrow off- can't blow nose and treat kids at the same time.
