Tablet suggestions

I'm thinking of buying a pen tablet and was wondering if anyone could recommend one. The main thing I want to do is color in digital stamps. I normally print everything out, color with copics and then scan back in. I believe I could do this with a tablet, but am not sure. Any suggestions?

I looooove my tablet. I have a Bamboo Craft. Its my second Wacom. I started out with the Graphire. I seriously don't know how I would ever be able to scrap with a mouse at this point.

I haven't kept up with any of the new releases of tablets, but I have to say that I really do love mine. Ii also have a smaller, cheaper tablet that I have fo rmy lapptop, and I don't like it as much. I can't remember the brand off hand, but one of the things I don't like as that you can't lift the pen to move the cursor around. I don't know how to explain it, but with the bamboo, you can hover you pen over the tablet and it senses it. The other one I have is strictly through pen touching the tablet.

PS: The tablet that I use on my laptop -- the one I am not crazy about-- is a Genius brand.

Unfortunately, I don't have an ipad. I was looking at the wacom, but wasn't sure which one to get. They have a very wide gap in pricing.

That was an awesome video - wish I could even choose colors as well as he does, let alone draw.

I have a Wacom Intuos4 for the computer in my studio, but I still have an old Wacom Graphire3 that I carry around in my laptop bag. The Bamboos are a vast improvement over that Graphire (and I still like the Graphire, so the Bamboo must be pretty great, too.)

I think Anna Aspnes has one of the Pen + Touch Bamboo tablets and she really loves it.

I have a Bamboo and it just wasn't for me. I love the concept of it but I couldn't get the hang of it. But it was great and easy to use. I think it sounds like exactly what you are looking for. It also comes with PSE software and Corel I believe if you needed to purchase it.

Amazon ended up having a flash sale this afternoon for the Intuos4 so I got it. Had excellent reviews.
