This weekend we move the clock forward,

we loose one hour of sleep, but the reward: Summertime!
every day an extra hour of daylight until october!
My favourite time of the year!

Do you all change to the summertime this weekend?

We changed our clocks on March 10th, but we are hoping that this tradition will be ended soon and we will never have to change our clocks again. Do you hope to do the same?

only if it stays at the summertime !
I would like the clocks to no longer change, but my vote would be for standard time. Living in Florida, I do not need an extra hour of daylight and I hate waking up at 6:00 a.m. and having it still be dark out side.

I hate the change to daylight savings time. Takes me a few weeks to adjust. I don't like waking up to dark at 7 AM.... I wish they would leave it on regular time.

O my, i never thought of that. Wow, if you hadn't reminded me, I think I would have totally forgot. Never had that happen to me before.

I think it would be great to end this tradition, but I do prefer winter time to be the standard. The evenings in the summer are long enough, I don't need another hour, but I would hate it, when it is dark until ten o'clock in the winter. I think in the winter people would not get enough daylight when it starts to get light so late.

I will be glad that we no longer have to move the clock ... I hope they choose daylight saving time ...

Yes, the old clock moves forward in spring and falls back in the fall. I hate when its time change. My inner clock doesn't agree. haha I hope they make it where it stays the same all year. I'm not a summer person. If we could control the seasons, and I'd get a vote, I'd have 3 months of spring, 4 months of fall and 5 months of winter. haha I lived in Florida for 50 years and I've had enough summers. :) At least, in North Carolina, I have change of seasons now so I'm a happy transplanted Florida gal.

I cannot believe all of the blasphemy here! :drama:
People not liking summer or sunny evenings. tsk tsk

Personally, I wish it would stay at DST year round. I crave sunshine and light. When it is pitch dark at 5 pm, all I want to do is climb into bed even as I am cooking dinner. It is dark when I wake up, dark when eating dinner. That makes me cranky and tired.

But, to each his own!
