I *think* these are finches.
Are they the same kind? Merlin is suggesting one is a house finch and one is a purple finch.

TIA!

Merlin says Bird #1 is a house finch and #2 and 3 are purple finch.
Either way, I am super excited to have new/more birds!

That bottom one is for sure a purple finch...I have had quite a few on my feeders this year...they are so pretty when their backs are turned to you and it is almost like a bubble gum pink stripe down their back :beatingheart: I agree that the top two do look more like house finches, I am wondering if the one on the right is a male since it has so much of the red coloring? They sure are adorable :heartpumplove:

Well, I have a new feeder on my office window and a very small yellow and blue bird has been visiting it. I tried to get pictures, but the sun was very bright and the pictures are washed out. I think it's a Chickodee or a wren. I'll try to get better pictures.

Did you see it's eyes? If they are really big it might be a titmouse :heartpumpred:
I hope I can see it's eyes next time, Jenn. He was SO fast that at first I thought it was a Hummingbird, out of the corner of my eye. Plus the sun was so bright. I hope it visits tomorrow when the light is better. It was funny because it became bolder as the late afternoon went on. At first it was just "zip zip" then it stayed a teeny bit longer. I just put the feeder up a few days ago, so I'm sure it will return.

@scrap-genie Thanks for the input! I am hoping that I can see them IRL as opposed to the feeder-cam. The photos are screenshots of the video and it's so difficult trying to get the right angles at the right time. If only I were a Gen Z-er, I'd be able to do that with my eyes closed::p
