Hi girls,

The school holiday is over in Belgium and the children are all back to school. Hopefully we can enjoy some beautiful September days if the weather is good :D
Jolien moves to her own place next week, so she leaves the nest again after working 3j abroad. She is going to work and live in Leuven now. Robbe has to go to high school for another 1 year so he still has to study.
I hope that I have more time to visit the gallery more, I have not been much there last month.

I start at 30.217 and will go for 30.500 :D

Vera- how far is Leuven from where you live? I hope it isn't too far.
Caitlyn started her second year of college last week and Scott is going into his 4th year on Wednesday. He will need 5 years to graduate with his Bachelors after getting his Associates last May. Both still live at home which makes this mama happy.

It is really feeling like Autumn right now, it is very chilly, but I am hoping that we get a warm Sept and Oct like we did last year.

I am in for this challenege too. Let me see where I am, BRB!
I am at 42,556 -- an going to set my goal for 42,800.

Who else will join us? I hope that you all do :)

I am in, going to try for 28,800 this month!

Life is back to normal here too. Haye started uni this week. Just half an hour travelling each day ( 15 min by train )
So he will stay at home!
One of the advantages of living in a small country, everywhere is a short distance

Vera- 1-hour driving isn't too bad. Farther than I would like if I were in your shoes, but doable. My brother lives just under an hour from me so that isn't hard to do. :)

Diane- That is great news about Haye staying at home, that made me happy when my kids decided to do the same. Will he drive or take the train? It would take us over a half an hour to even get to train!

the train,
it takes just under 10 minutes to get to the station by bicycle
then 15 mins train
and again a bicycle trip of 10 minutes (sometimes a bit longer)

I am so jealous of EUs transit system. Are there bike paths for him to ride safely? Nothing like that out here in New Jersey :(

We have lots of bike paths along busy roads, those streets do not allow bikes,
But also streets that are for bikes, and only some cars can ride there (when you live in that street)
But most streets you just ride along with the traffic.
Kids here grow up with bikes so they are used to it.

Seriously, WTH was I thinking??? There is/was no way I could make that goal in Sept with everything that I have going on. I have a week left and nope, that isn't going to happen.

How are all of you doing? Better than I am, hopefully! :D
