Do you use it, do you like it? Are you not a professional photographer? I see that it is on sale this week, and I am playing with it, but not sure if I would use it enough to justify buying it. Share with me please!

I have seen this before...not sure how much it's on sale for, but I think I saw it for $99.....I honestly believe that Lightroom 4 is a MUCH MUCH better value....it's $50 more, but there are loads and loads of FREE presets out there.....You can have 100's of presets with LR vs. 80 with RadLab.....Also...if you like to do your own adjustments, there is a lot more you can do in LR vs. RL (just takes a little working with to learn).

This is just my opinion :tape:

I've seen people's photos run with Rad Lab and frankly, I can do most of this in Lightroom 2 (I'm too mean to upgrade to the current version!). I process all my photos through LR anyway, so, as Nana says, I run FREE presets across everything, playing withe which one works best for that photo - although I have a few go to presets. I haven't bought a single preset, not one. Maybe it's just me, but $99 sounds like rather a lot of money to spend on something that isn't a major piece of software/hardware.

Go on, give LR a try - with Adobe's 30 day trial, you won't go back after trying!

I am downloading lightroom now to give them both a try- may not get either right now- but with only basketball on tv, I have lots of play time this weekend!!

I don't have Lightroom and I had some $$$ left over from my trip to NYC last October, so I bought RadLab at the weekend whilst it was on sale + got another 15% off using a discount voucher ... so in total it cost me $84.15 ... I'm really enjoying playing with the presets / recipes and like that I can customise the intensity etc.

I use Lightroom but have yet to get many of the free presets I had when I was using my old computer, now using a Mac so not sure if they will work on my new Lightroom or not, better try I guess. Laurie you will have to let us know how you like it? Can you download a trail version of RadLab??

Talking about actions - I bought a set of Florabella when they were on sale - they looked brilliant on her site - the before and afters -
But I didn't take into account that she uses models with perfect photos to begin with.

I was disappointed when working with my own photos - Honestly Pioneer Woman Freebie actions are just as effective and they are FREE!
I hope to buy lightroom in near future.

Radlab comes with about 80 presets which you can vary in intensity. I'm loving it for scrapbooking because I can just pull the photos into PSE and fix them in about 20 seconds, then make my page.
I still love Lightroom but more for batch photo editing. I don't fix all my photos just the ones I'm going to use on layouts.

I have to say, I have both and really like Rad lab. I use it for quickies- I use my Lightroom for my fave pictures- but when I want a quick cool fix- rad lab is awesome!

So far, I have discovered that rad lab is much easier for on the fly fix, I have not yet figured out much in light room- definitely not an easily intuitive program.

So good to be back!
From a total action junkie... Rad Lab is awesome!! I have LR and just could never get into it at all. I know I should really try it for batch editing, esp. when I have a shoot to deliver but frankly, I have my workflow in PS down to a science so it takes me only a few minutes.
J, which set did you get from Florabella? I LOVE her! And sure, she gets most stuff right in camera but if you lower the opacity of the actions you get awesome results.
