Portland OR anyone???

Hi all...
I am scheduled to go on a business trip to Portland on July 7... my first business trip ever. I am excited!!

Is anyone here from around Portland? We could meet...
Any tips or info is appreciated

I will arrive on July 7 around 2 pm and will start my journey home on July 10 around 7 pm (flight departs at 10 pm-ish). I have intensive training from Monday-Wednesday 8am-5pm.
On the way there I have a 5 hour layover in LAX. Any ideas how to spend the time? I read about Xpresspa. Has anyone been there? How much do u think a foot or neck massage costs?
Do you think i would have enough time to leave the airport? I land at 6:35 and take off at 11:30. Anyone nearby?

I used to live in Portland but am not nearby currently. How exciting for you. There's a lot if cool things to do there. Check out pioneer square and the portlandia. Do you know what area of Portland you'll be in? You can tell my the address of where you'll be. The city is broken into quadrants...SE, SW, NE and NW. The city is split in half by the Willamette River with 9 bridges connecting one side to the other.

LAX is a pretty big airport and with security and whatnot I'd be nervous about leaving. Plus the LA area is very spread out.
