Photos to Avatars

I have noticed that Cheryl, Trudy and Chris have these lovely new avatars that have a painted look to them.
Where do you get that action?
Wouldn't it be nice if one of our designers could come up with an action like that?
It would be so handy to be able to change a photo from Pixabay to that.
If not,would someone like to make a tutorial to show how to get that effect?

Yes, I was shocked! You get it free for three days, then I figured $7.99 a month, but no - it's that a week! I've never seen an app that cost that much! It's a really fun app, however. I'm going to look into these other suggestions for a similar look.

I have been playing instead of walking. my bad... ha ha
This is the best I could do as I really didn't know what I was doing.
Basically it is a photo>watercolour>sketch mix and a whole lot of playing with filters. I couldn't reproduce that look if I tried. It isn't as glamorous as yours. That's my "whatever" look
