And here we are in October already! Hello, it's Anke with a new challenge for this beautiful month of fall. I wanted to do something a little different and instead of asking you to make pages about fall, I would like the theme to be YOU.

Was there a recent birthday?
A fun outing?
Any change in your life?
Anything goes, as long as it's clearly about YOU. We are always behind the camera and document everybody else's life, it's a good thing to be the subject for a change. Feel free to use a template if you like. A photo of you would be great, but I will not make it a requirement. Sometimes it's hard to gt a good selfie and such. Just tell us a little story of something important to you!

Here is the page I created:

I used Rachel Jefferie's "Let's Go" Kit

I hope you'll have fun with this challenge, any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RULES:
- Create a page about YOU, anything goes, but the theme must be apparent!
- A photo would be great, but it is not a requirement!
- Please use 80% Oscraps products that are currently in the store.
- Non-Oscraps products or retired O designer products can be used whether the designer is selling elsewhere or not.
- You need to credit all the products used on your layout.
- Your layout can not be used for more than one challenge.
- Your page must be posted in the Challenge 4 gallery by midnight PST October 31st, 2024 and linked back to this thread (see below on how to add your linked layout).
- And do not forget to update the CURRENT MONTH'S TRACKING THREAD to be eligible for your coupon.

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

Thanks for the challenge, Anke. Sifting through today's photos, I found an accidental selfie that showed my favorite hat, a bit of my new UV400 sunglasses, and completely blown out to solid white instead of my face. Since I'm never wild about selfies anyway, I took on the challenge of putting the story about my vision. I went from almost legally blind for about 45 years to can't drive but OK for 32 more, to very hopeful I'll have 20/20 for the first time in my life! I used a "flower face" image to fill in the missing pixels. :p

omg, that's wonderful!! Both the background story and your page! Thanks for participating!!

Thank you for this challenge which proved to be good scrap therapy for me.
Thank you for participating with this thoughtful and beautiful page!

Love this challenge. After all, we ARE important in our lives. Thanks for hosting, Anke. I was recently diagnosed with an incurable leukemia. Life expectancy is 10 years, so that's good. I am working out my acceptance with art by creating a series called: Dancing with Death. I created this sketch of me from the good ol' days by using my finger as a stylus on an art program on my iPad. The purple blobs represent my bad cancer cells...because they are coming for me. I hope to find my peace soon, so I can start creating some healing art.

Used the ColorBurst Collab ColorBust and Craft Button's Crafty Buttons" Dia De Los Muertos kit.
