Hey Everyone!

It’s Friday and time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes.

Each Friday the AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. There is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay. Be inspired and create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery. Upload your page by Thursday 5.10.12 by NOON EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift ’ and one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5 GiftKard to Anna’s shop. The winner will be posted each Thursday here in the forum.


This week the AnnaTeam selected this fun and beautiful work of art, ‘Rainboots,’ by ‘askings’ (Amy) as this week’s AnnaLift inspiration page.

Amy’s page is just the coolest work of art!
-Love the perfectly cropped and blended photo that shows us just enough, yet leaves our imagination wondering and wanting to know more.
-Love her linear design with the brackets used to frame and house her photo.
-Love her use of black and white mixed with the ever-so-soft pop of watercolor.
-Love the use of the glows to give even further focus and attention to the cool photo.
-Love and more Love for that creative and reflective title work.
-Love all the cool brushwork to finish off the design and theme of her page.

When I first saw it in the gallery I fell in love with it. Hummmm - how to lift - gotta think.... this is gonna be fun.

I lifted the 'drops' concept, but dew drops, not rain; lifted a lot of the design elements as well, and once I created the title art, had to include the Robert Burns poem.
