I'm crocheting a blanket. It's what is called a cal project: crochet along. It's a huge project. You get a part of the pattern every two weeks.
I'm behind, I should have finished my blanket, but I've now started to sew the center part together. I'm so happy with the result sofar!

Looks great, Jeannette!
So every two weeks a new square pattern that you have to make a few of? Fun idea,
Now its getting colder so you will want to finish it and use it!
How many squares are there?

Fun ! I also have such an addictive hobby, have you ever looked at wool square? They also make very nice blankets there, you get a new stitch every week

Jeanette- that is gorgeous!! I agree with Diane, now that the weather is getting cooler, it will give you that extra push to keep working on it. I can't wait to see it when you are done.

Jeannette, it is so beautiful. I love the colors. Yes, it will soon be time to wrap up in it. :) I can't wait to see the complete project. I like the project concept. Maybe it would inspire me to do a larger crochet item. :)

There is a total of 25 squares for the center of the blanket.
When those are all put together there is an edge around it, and then there are 8 more squares and 8 rectangles to go around the center. Another edge and then it's finished.

We had to do 4 or 5 squares every two weeks and part of the rectangles.
