Mixer Brush

After using PS CS5 for a few years now, I'm just hearing about the Mixer Brush Tool. Has anyone else used it? Here is a sample of a simple use I made of it, but would love to go deeper if one of our experts can give us a tut.

I tried using it on a scenic photo. The barn turned out decent, but the foreground/grass was unacceptable. Could be I needed a different brush or settings. I suspect that mastering it may take as much time and effort as mastering the Pen Tool (which I also cannot use!).

Will definitely have to try this and look for more tutorials about it.

I've seen tutorials in the past but have never tried it. Something new to do! Love your final picture!

Did you pm Angela (Ang) ... I think she took a class on this. She is doing some amazing stuff with the mixer brush.
