Lightroom.....

I wanted to share (I have had several people ask what I am doing with my photos)....if you have ever considered purchasing Lightroom and just did not know if it was worth it....let me tell you....IT IS!!!! I downloaded the 30 day trial a few months ago and from the first time I used it, I was HOOKED!!! At first I thought that I probably would not use it that often...WRONG...I use it on every single photo!!! I also thought it would be just more and more expense because you would have to buy the presets....so far I have not purchased one preset...there are loads of free ones out there....beautiful ones!!!

So if you were wondering what to save up for....I highly recommend this program....I don't have very many tools for my scrapping.....but I don't regret getting this one!!!

Your examples look fantastic Linda!!! and yes, Lightroom is on my *wish list* but I am still having loads of fun with ALL of my actions and textures! LOL!! there are tons of them and I just love playing with them all! :biggrin:

Linda, those are wonderful examples. I adore that photo of Savannah with her finger in her mouth and her little pearl earring. You have already sold me on that program. I just need $300.00 to splurge...you got any spare change? hehe

Like everyone else...just need the spare change. The last spare change I had went to a lens...which I LOVE and have threatened to leave my husband for repeatedly...I don't think he would like competing with a computer program also...but it may just happen anyway. It has been on my wish list for a bit.

If you are a student (or parent of a student) or a teacher, you can get the full version of Lightroom 3 for $89.95 at the Academic Superstore. They do request verification, but its easy to do. As soon as I have enough pennies together, I'm getting it. *lol* (link is straight to lightroom)
