Last Call for September First Reads!

I completely forgot about Amazon First Reads until I got the email saying it was the last chance to grab it. I looked over the selection and nothing grabbed me. Not even a little.
Did any of you pick one yet or think one might be interesting?

I was thinking about that one and The Usual Silence, which is listed as a thriller. As I said, nothing is grabbing me. Silly of me too-- I mean they are free, what do I have to lose?

Ummm...yeah, me being ME, I didn't KNOW about this free stuff, but is also has been AGEST since I have read something other than emails, forums, newsletters, and struggling to read small print. Seriously. I looked at the list and I am going to go for Lenny Among Ghosts....yep, I am juvenile, thank you very much

Oh no, I have to read it on my Kindle....I need to find it and charge it and I *think* that now my eyes have switched over to no contacts or glasses being better close up. Oi...being 49 is really just so magical

I went with the groupthink and got the Elias one.

@joyfulheartdesigns I can't decide which is worse about getting older- the eyesight giving out or the wrinkles. I think the eyesight is worse. Switching between multi-focal contacts and cheaters and progressive lenses in my glasses has given me awful headaches lately.
