Hey Everyone!
Happy New Year and it’s our First AnnaLift of 2012!

It’s Friday and time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes.

Each Friday the AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordart, or maybe the photo? Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. There is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay. Be inspired and create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery. Upload your page by Thursday 01.12.12 by NOON EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift ’ and one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5 GiftKard to Anna’s shop. The winner will be posted each Thursday here in the forum.

This week the AnnaTeam had so many great pages to choose from in the Anna gallery. There was so much creativity flowing in the gallery as we were lifting one another after being inspired by all those cool 2011 pages. We selected (Thank you, Jana!) this fun page by ‘snowdropz.’ Audrey lifted Phabulous Phylis and now we are going to lift Audrey to make this a 'chain lift.'

Audrey’s page is a mix of great photos and lots of bits and pieces of elements that work so well together in her design. She used a traditional frame design for her photos and then added her own artsy flair with color and WordTransfers and WordArt and elements tucked here and there. Her rounded frames are housed inside a rounded edge stitched border and she repeats the rounding motion in her loops scattered across the page. So many cool parts and pieces to choose from on this page to create your Annalift this week. Check out Audrey’s page and be inspired and then lift her lift and show us yours.

I have to admit, this one was more of a challenge to me than some of the others because of the urban/busyness look. But I decided to step out a bit farther than I normally would for a grandchild's birthday LO. Thanks for the shove!

Gosh, it's lovely to see the different takes! They are so so gorgeous!

I've not had the chance to do much this week as we had a new boiler put in this week (our boiler went kaput in Dec and we have on & off heating since. Thank god winter has been quite mild here!) House's a mess and I'm going crazy not being able to scrap.

Might try and create something later tonight!
