I was poking around the library yesterday, when this one just about jumped on me!

Sara and I have been comparing notes/commiseration/supporting/enabling our fontaholic-ness and it was crazy to see a book about fonts. Talk about perfect for Sara :)

I have only gotten into about 20 pages or so, but its is really cool so far. And who knows, maybe I'll be better able to recognize some of my duplicate or very similar fonts and be able to delete some more of them. Although I would bet it more likely that I will go on a search and find more new ones I adore.

(Sara, I saw that Font poster on pinterest that you pinned.... I didn't repin, even though I only had one font on that list. Yay me:laugh:. )
 
Oh Chris. You know me so well. I will love and adore this book I'm sure. :-) I will have to hunt for it. Wasn't that poster funny??

please I thought I'd overcome my font addiction - no temptation please......

I have (on DVD's which I've put away!) thousands upon thousands - Years ago was on Yahoo group who shared them by the hundreds.

But hey, a book can't hurt ----- can it ? ? ?

I have to decide if I want to wait and get it from the public library when we dig out from our foot of snow or pay for the audio book. (No eBook version available to load on to my iPad and satisfy my immediate urge.)
 
Sara i am on chapter 2 and it is funny- the author is very quirky LOL
I am going to suggest you wait- he writes about the fonts and uses them in the type, which you won't get the effect of it you listen to it.
I would not ever want you to miss an experience with fonts ;)
