Welcome to Week 3 of our "Reflect" Series.
We're still using the word "reflect" or "reflection". I'd like for you to scrap one picture that's a reflection of some important or memorable event from last year (2023). Also, please use that word for your title, or as a part of your title.
Why look back to the past - in the spirit of this challenge, to the past year? Sometimes we need to look back before we look forward. I did some poking around online about "looking back", and there was surprisingly quite a bit on this topic. I found some quotes that really stood out to me and I used one of them on my sample layout. Feel free to use any of them.
“When the most important times are occurring, we don’t even recognize them or notice. We are just busy living our lives. Only looking back do we know what a great moment in our lives it was.” - Federico Fellini.
“Looking back you realize that a very special person passed briefly through your Life - and it was you. It is not too late to find that person again.” ~Unknown
“That’s the funny thing about time. It is only in looking back that it’s easy to connect the dots. To see exactly why everything needed to happen the way that it did.” - Rebecca Serle
"Looking back, I have this to regret, that too often when I loved, I did not say so."~ Ray Stannard Baker
"You live life looking forward, you understand life looking backward."~ Soren Kierkegaard
Using our prompt "reflect" as you create your page, tag, etc., as previously stated, the word "reflect" is open to your interpretation. You don't even have to use the actual word - you can use any word that's similar in meaning and make it your own. I used a picture of me, my daughter and granddaughter as my "reflection picture". We attended a Roaring 20's New Year's Eve Party, and we had a blast - especially dressing in that period. I had always wanted to wear a man's tuxedo, and I finally did. I jokingly said I was channeling Julie Andrews from the movie "Victor/Victoria" - she was a woman pretending to be a man, pretending to be a woman. Needless to say, we had THE best time and it's a standout memory from last year.
I can't wait to see your memorable moments or just memories that you're reflecting on. Most of all, have fun with this challenge.
