It's my duty to remind any of you Prime members that your free May books are available. You can only pick one - this month was a no-brainer for me. I love anything by Jennifer Weiner. Chris @faerywings I'm poking you and everybody else, of course. :pokestick:

Thank you for posting this! I saw the email on May 1 and checked the reviews. There weren't many at all so I figured I'd wait, although the cover of this one caught my eye:

I'll have to read all of the blurbs and reviews again.
Anyone else pick one yet?

There are some good ones this month. I just had to pick the one from Jennifer. BTW. I'm really into The Keeper of Happy Endings and I'm mesmerized. Not only am I reading the book on my Kindle, but I'm also listening to it on "Scribed". It's SO awesome to hear Soline's French accent. I LOVE it!!

Yay! So glad that you are enjoying it. The story really sucks you in, right? It started out sort of blandly, but all of the layers unravel so slowly and emotionally, don't they?
One nice thing about First Reads is that I am a little more adventurous picking out a book- guess since it's free, it is like there is no commitment to it.
OTOH--- I really only borrow books from Libby or I find free ones online so allll of my books are free. #dk

They might have that audio book on Libby. Have you looked? You will be enchanted by Soline's French accent. I'm enjoying the audio version so much, even though I read the book. I used to use that Libby app when I first started listening to aurio books. I didn't think I was going to like them at first, but I love them now.

Don't ask me why, but I tend to borrow audiobooks from Hoopla and ebooks from Libby. Nope, not a clue why I do it that way. Either way, I'll have to see if I can find Soline somewhere :)
