We found out last Sunday that a young man from our church teen department shot himself. He was 15. He didn't die right away so he was taken to the hospital and put on life support. They found out there was no brain activity. His parents donated his organs before he was taken off life support. He was such a cheerful and fun young man and a friend of our granddaughter's and all the teens at our church. We have all been heartbroken over his passing. Then, yesterday, a friend of our grandson committed suicide. He was 17. My heart is broken for these families and friends that have been touched by these deaths. I know they would appreciate your prayers

Oh, Evelyn, I am so sorry for these tragic and heartbreaking losses. I typed out a response here and then deleted it because, truly, there are no words.

I am sending you big hugs and I hope that you and the people so deeply affected by this can eventually find peace.

O my, how sad this is. I can't imagine what these young men have been going through to take such a step. My heart goes out to their parents, family and friends.
