ISO: A Holiday Planning Guide

I freaked myself out a bit when I realized how soon the holidays are going to be here. Every year, I start the season out by saying how this is the year, I am going to be organized. And then in approximately one hour, my plans go :boom:
I used to have a detailed planner that I had found online years ago when my kids were little. I got rid of that as they grew older since much of the stuff revolved around little kids.
Even though they are older, we still do most of the family traditions. Tree decorating, baking, movies. The whole shebang. I would love to get back to being organized enough that I can enjoy the season and not be stressed about it. Ok, maybe not *too* stressed.

Any ideas of where to look? Parenting sites have them but they are mostly directed towards kids' activities.
How do you all stay organized or do you throw your hands up and embrace the chaos with the help of spiked eggnog?

No one?
I searched yesterday and still can only seem to find ones that are geared towards kids. Well, I guess I still have "kids" and fur-babies, so perhaps that counts? hah!!!

Lol Chris, I am the same chaotic organizer, I live from day to day and can never plan anything. I plan to plan everything on time! Lol and that doesn't work; but unfortunately I cannot help you, only comfort that you are not alone

Have you looked at Manu Designs daily planners? They are totally awesome and I should really get it for myself as I am so totally unorganized right now and far too much on plate! I don't know what to do first!!

I have a weekly/monthly planner that I usually write in to keep my on track for the small daily things. I need something more detailed to remind me what had to get done with holiday prep as well as gift ideas and keeping track of where I hid the gifts! I don't think a year has gone by where I didn't forget at least one gift and had to run around the house trying to find it Christmas morning LOL

Maybe I should just revel in the chaos... anyone care to join me?

we are pretty relaxed here, np need for a special planner.

1 Christmas dinner on December 21st,
and 1 on December 25th.

Just have to get the tree up before then, that is it!

Saw this while I was browsing on line this morning Chris, maybe not as detailed as you would like, but still pretty cute!

That is so cute- the graphics made me smile. I also found this one: https://christmas.organizedhome.com/
:faint: That one was enough to make me get a bit lightheaded!
Because I am ridiculous, I spent an hour or so trying to create one myself in Google Sheets but whether I 1. ever use it or 2. ever *finish* it, remains to be seen hahaha!!!

Diane-- I wish it were that simple in my house! *jealous*
