First off, I'm not a Lensbaby affiliate or associated with Lensbaby in any way, except for loving the creative photos I get with their equipment. :) I bought my first Lensbaby last spring, The Velvet 56, and have purchased three others since then, some new, some used. If by any chance you don't have a clue what I'm going on about, I'll put a few of my photos here. I especially love the incredible bokeh, and DOF, I get with nature photos, particularly in the fall.

Thank you. Just Google Lensbaby and be sure you're on the actual Lensbaby site, Angie. (Not sure if I can link here.) These photos, except the one of the peaches that I added a texture to, were hardly processed except for a simple levels adjustment, etc. Basically straight out of the camera. The Lensbabys are the most creative I've ever photographed with. I love my nifty fifty, but these have taken its place in my camera bag. Plus, they are all lightweight and I can use them handheld. No need to drag along a tripod. Great for hikes.

You can link here because we know you will be giving us a legit link, not some cursed spammer!

I am in awe of your photos! I haven't used a DSLR/lenses in probably two years. (breaking out my DDs DSLR tonight I should practice LOL)
TFS!!
Super! Happy photog, Chris. Before my hubby passed he called himself my "photo caddy." He carried all the heavy equipment. My old lenses are really heavy. After he passed, I learned really fast that with my physical limitations, I wasn't going to be able to hike much with my old equipment, my Gitzo tripod alone weighs a ton. So, I started doing more iPhoneography and got some good results, but even after processing, I wasn't completely satisfied. Then I discovered the LBs and when I saw how lightweight they are, I had to give 'em a try. The largest one I own is the Velvet 56 and it weighs about 14 oz, less than a pound. I got a new mirrorless camera last year which is also lighter than my older DSLR, so it's been a real win-win for me.

I have a couple of lenses. Haven't used them in years and not sure where I put them. If I come across them I'll give them a try again. They really are a unique lens and so fun to play with.

When you find them, Rae, let me know what you have. I hardly use anything else anymore. They are awesome for portraits, still life, nature, all-around fun lenses.

Yayyyyy! Another Lensbaby fan!! Oh gosh, now I'll have to look into this one. Thanks, Claire. ♥
@Betty Jo I love it, it is the most overused thing in my camera bag. I have an ancient pentax that I bought second-hand and all my lenses are second-hand, my telephoto zoom was made the same year I was born and I am its 3rd owner! How neat is that?! I love Lensbaby velvet lenses, but didn't have the budget, so I have that on my wishlist. The fisheye was a gift from my hubby 9 years ago for my 40th birthday!

Claire, how awesome that your telephoto zoom was made the year you were born! That is so cool! I've thought about investing in a vintage camera, but just haven't gone that route yet, and with prices as they are these days, it's getting harder and harder for me to afford more equipment. Many of my Flickr friends use various vintage cameras and lenses and do incredible photography with them. ♥
