My heart goes out to you. It is so painful to lose our furry companions. I know how much it hurts. Hugs.
 
I'm so sorry, Ana. It is a cruel fact of life that our pets live such short lives compared to our own.

just seeing this ana - I am so sorry for you - i understand all too well especially being a first dog who is like a child to you. Don't listen to anyone who says its just a dog - grieve as much and as long as you need to.

Fur babies leave a big hole in your heart that takes time to ease. I don't think anyone quite gets over it completely but the memories last and give comfort. allow yourself to grieve and know you did the right thing.
