I did have a black lab. Her name was Kitty Carryall - after Cindy Brady's doll lol but mostly because it was funny to have a big, big dog named Kitty We had her for almost 16 years!

My very first job ever was working at a private kennel. He raised labs for field trials/hunting and I absolutely loved working with the dogs, even cleaning the kennels, but I had to quit when I started helping with the field work/training and he used shock collars and my 12 year old self couldn't handle that at all.

6 of 8 puppies have been adopted but dont go to new homes until may 10

16 is long life - i hope cooper lives that long . he is 8 now.

i dont think i could handle any one using shock collars.
