HELP! Why is my printer doing this to me?

I'm trying to print my pages for my Project 365. It's been working fine but all of a sudden this happens:

Anyone have any idea why this is happening, and what I need to do to fix it. I don't want those ugly lines

Eva, I believe that might be a print head gone bad. Have you tried shutting it down and then restarting? Also, how about doing a print head cleaning? Just guessing here.

Oh it better not be something seriously wrong with the printer. I haven't had it more than a month or two.

But now that you mention it - I think I forgot to turn of the main switch yesterday night, just the computer. I'll try and restart it and hope for the best.

Or I just throw the )&/#¤(&(/"%#% out the window

Eva...my printer acts stupid all the time.....not sure why...but I find that if I uninstall it and reinstall it usually is fine (if none of the usual stuff works that is..like turn it off and back on...clean the print head)

Sometimes they act funny if they need an update too...I will go to the manufacturer's site and find any update drivers and install them.
