Hello from New Mexico

Hi, gals. I see some familiar faces around the forum. I am on Valentina's Creations Creative Team. Been looking around the forum and the challenges sound interesting so will have to give them a try in August.

My hubby and I live in Rio Rancho - the 2nd largest city in New Mexico... located right next to Albuquerque. Great place to live - and we get to enjoy seeing hot air balloons fill the skies over our neighborhood several times a year. The Albuquerque International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in October is a fabulous time as there are balloons filling the skies for 10 days. And is a wonderful time for taking photos.

Welcome! I'm late in my welcome but when I saw Rio Rancho, I had to comment. I love the food there! Years ago we passed through during the chili festival and the air was full of the smell of roasted chili. Yum!
