Hi Josie, and welcome to Oscraps... I know I am a few months late but I guess better late than never... we went to Nuremberg a few years back to visit your Christmas Market - and I still drink my morning coffee from the gluewein mug I bought that day... The design and the guy on the horse look so positively medieval...

Guten abend, Josie! My mother was born in Furth which is also near Nuremberg! I would stay with my cousin Erika in Furth when I was a little girl. My father was stationed in Germany in the Army and that is where he met my mother. I lived there off and on for eight years when I was a young girl. I have such wonderful memories of Germany! We are so very happy to have you here at Oscraps!!

I'm a new arrival here but I noticed you are living in Germany. We lived there 3 years in Illesheim while my husband was in the Army there. Our son was born there in Nuremburg Army Hospital, he is going to be 50 next month so that tells you how long ago it was. After I got used to life there I loved it....so clean and so different from the US. Nice to meet you.
