Vicki Robinson's December Get Creative Challenge was to convert a color photograph to black and white, then recolor part of it. I did this technique awhile ago but hadn't done it recently. I loved going back and using a cool technique that I hadn't used for a long time.

How about you? Have you learned/relearned a technique that you enjoyed?

Funny how techniques sparkle for a while then go away and come back to sparkle again. I haven't done this for a bit either. Time to try it again.

That is so true, isn't it? I hadn't tried this in a long time. I'm sure there are others.

I did a double exposure (image layered and blended overtop another image) which I haven't done in a long time. That was fun.

I love realistic shadows and followed a nubmer of videos on how to acheive curled/folded effect... And then I somehow got lazy and went back to using basic shadows... I need to rediscover advanced shadows once more...

Oh, that sounds so interesting, Rae. I haven't played with double exposures for a long time.

I love curled edges too, Olga. I need to learn how to do this technique better.
