I beat Sue to it, although her voice is better than mine, so I'm sure she'll be along in the morning to lead the choir!

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday Val. Hope you have a really splendid day.
:bday:champagne

Happy Birthday Val!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well lookie what we have here ... Selena is the O'ChOir's very own sOlOist!!!
Bless her, she may not always want to shine ... but she's keen, VERY keen
and what she may lack in harmony, she more than makes up for with enthusiasm

Anyhoo, back to the performance at hand ... Val-i-cious has a wicked sense of humour
and AMAZING scrapping AND designing skills and I hope she'll be singing along,
probably whilst whale watching in the frozen waters of Iceland
(and I don't mean the frozen food specialist supermarket ... OK, so that's a purely UK based joke, sorry!)

Happy birthday to you

yeah, def need and explanation on that one ladies. Geesh, you "out of towners" with your fancy talk .... hahaha

I've said it before and I'll happily say it again -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAL!!!!!!

You Brits better explain that please :D

yeah, def need and explanation on that one ladies. Geesh, you "out of towners" with your fancy talk .... hahaha

If truth be told, it's not really that funny ... there's a "budget" supermarket chain here in the UK called Iceland ... not what you'd call haute cuisine, but lots of stressed out mums shop there ... personnally I wouldn't touch the food with a barge pole ... I mean, how much real meat can there be in a BBQ pack that only costs £5 and has 50 "pieces" (16 saugages, 12 chicken wings, 12 mini-ribs & 10 corn-on-the-cob)???

Anyway, I'm gonna to change my suggestion from whale watching in Iceland to whale watching is Scotland (there's currently a pod of approx. 60 pilot whales threatening to beach themselves on the isle of South Uist in Scotland ... so sad :-( Either that of Val's off watching the volcano that's erupted and closed Icelandic airspace AGAIN ... I just hope there's no repeat of last summer's travel chaos ... I'm due to fly to Italy for a friends wedding on 30th May!!!

well I spent a LOT of time in whale watching, whale counting ... I am in Iceland, and I love the idea of getting a volcano on just for my birthday! isn't it cool???

Dunno for te quality of "Iceland's food shop", but I have to agree on one thing.. Iceland is not a hot spot for gastronomy, if you ask. ( well a few thing are just FAB, but really few)

Thansk for all your wishes, I LOVE this "ValICious" ... maybe I could change my ID ... or at leats my AVI.

Thanks you all, The O fam is a wonderful Fam... I love you gals!

val

oh and Sue, the volcano is supposed to stop soon, DH will go in norway on the 31st and my mum is coming over on the 25th ... and we planned a trip from 26th to 30th in iceland... better stop barbecuing in the wild now ;-) I will ask then to do so ;-)
(there are amazing photos on "icelandic review" website ( in english)

Thanks a bunch
