To everyone that celebrates it, Happy 4th of July!!!!

What are your plans for the weekend!! As we don't celebrate it here downunder I wanna know what you will all be doing!!!! :wave:
 
Did a cousin sleepover last night. Took my two kids and my niece to see Toy Story 3. (Just a warning...caused Mommy tears at the end!) Today we will gather with my parents and brother's family and watch our small town parade. Brian will be on one of the floats throwing candy! After that we will head off to watch my nephew play in a baseball tournament! Probably head back to mom and dad's after that and grill out. Then to fireworks tonight. Since tomorrow is actually the 4th, we may find more festivities tomorrow...and will definitely find fireworks tomorrow night. And then, lucky me, I get the day off on Monday! Can you tell I'm excited?!

AWESOME Weekend for Americans!! I just love the hype that goes on for the few days surrounding this holiday, especially since it is such an important one!! Very proud to be an American and very much in awe of the heroes that serve our country to allow our freedom!! What a great day it is to celebrate our independence!!
 
We made marshmallow sparklers today and had my SIL and BIL over with their adorable baby boy. Tomorrow we will go to a parade and get candy, maybe do some fun carnival type games, then go out to the grandparents' farm for lunch. Don't know what we are doing tomorrow night. Hopefully, we can have Ben see fireworks tomorrow somewhere. Should be fun! I love seeing the patriotism around this holiday! Hope everyone is safe too though!
 
happy 4 all of you who celebrate! we celebrate every day here instead right now. lots of things i´m so happy and thankful for! going out with the boat today, going swimming and enjoying another lazy summerday.
 
Good morning ladies! Happy 4th to my USA friends. Took in the town parade yesterday. Sat through two baseball games. Then last night, went to the fireworks. Although the day had been hot, there was a beautiful breeze. We pulled the van in so we could get the best view...then decided lawn chairs would work better. By the start, I decided to lay this very old body down in the grass and watch. Beautiful fireworks!

It's gray and rainy this morning but may try to take in a few nearby celebrations anyway!
