Halloween: Yeah and Nah?

I know that some people really get into Halloween and spooky things and others don't. My family is a bunch of Halloween fanatics. Gary has started to set up our yard with animated skeletons and zombies. He makes them all on his own, pieces and parts of old motors and vacuums. Ropes and gears. It will be a work in progress until Halloween night.



I scrapped a couple of pages over the years.

How to you celebrate and decorate for Halloween or is it a holiday you skip over?

Not anywhere nearly as excited about Halloween as you are Chris! However we do decorate a bit the day or two before Halloween and of course love to hand out the candies to the local kids in the neighbourhood. Fun to see what your Gary comes up with every year!!

We don't do anything for Halloween but I enjoy the neighboring displays and like to photograph and scrap them. One of my friends is as into it all as you Chris, but I've never seen the house decorated (other side of town). I think they do or did a Candyland theme outside.

I used to go all out, when I lived in Florida, but when I moved I gifted my friend all my outside Halloween decorations. I will put some things inside then phase into the Fall decorations...then to my favorite...Christmas. haha Even living alone, I love to keep the inside of my house "in season," speaking of which...I am off to the attic to get my Halloween down.

I live a an country where they don't celebrate Halloween, however the shops se the commercial possibilities!

I don't really warm up for it but I love Gary's creativity!

My next-door neighbors also go all out for Halloween. It is always fun seeing Gary and Jo try to outdo each other LOL


We had so many people stopping to take pics and video this weekend. It makes Gary's day although it gives me a headache because it makes the dogs bark every time. heh

Alyx is very, very into decorating for Halloween. I enjoy it, but I do prefer Christmas. The hubby doesn't care much either way lol
