Gallery layout comments

Posting layouts in the gallery is such a personal thing. Maybe the layout is a photo of loved ones. Maybe the layout is sharing a special time. Whatever the layout, people are sharing a piece of them and their heart. I am always sad to see layouts with no comments. I try to comment on as many of them as I can. I would like to challenge each person who reads this post to scroll through the gallery and find a post with no comments. Leave a thoughtful comment and, perhaps by doing that, brighten someone’s day!❤️ Well, I’m off to comment!

You are reading my mind, Evelyn. I was just thinking about this earlier today as I was reading an uplifting comment on one of my own layouts. It truly does brighten one's day. I plan to comment a lot more in the gallery this year. ♥

I just feel that it’s like someone talking but nobody answers. It always makes me sad to see posts with no comments. I make a goal to comment each day but I know life happens. We never know what someone is going through.

"It's like someone talking but nobody answers." Wow! That's powerful, Evelyn, and literally gave me goosebumps. ♥

I can't agree more. The issue of time is something that goes for almost all of us. But I love to get a comment on my layouts, so I do make sure that I give comments to others. I also search for layouts with no comments, and ever so often I find one and can't image why no one took the time to give a comments. I also find that the layouts with only one comments are worth looking at.
Thank you for starting this topic Evelyn!!!

Yes agree ! I also try to give as many comments as possible, precisely because people still put time into making it and posting it. I also usually go through the designer galleries and see if there are any pages where no comments have been made.

I know what you mean, Jeannette. We all have responsibilities and constraints in life. I think if all of us on Oscraps will be conscious of this, we can make a difference.

I think that is wonderful, Vera!

One thing that I have been trying to do to help a bit...I try to always comment on a layout or two that are at the bottom of the page before I upload my layout. I try to make sure that my layout doesn't bump a layout off the first page without me commenting on it. But I totally hear what you are saying Evelyn...and I'll double down and try to do more!

Linda, that is a fabulous idea-check the bottom of the page before posting! Once a layout is off the main page it’s easy to miss! I’m going to be mindful of this from now on!
