editing picture's

I see a lot of photos that have been edited, i often do it myself, but sometimes i just leave them unedited.
My question: do you edit your photos to incorporate them into your design and if so, do you use a special program that you bought? A filter in photoshop? An action in photoshop? Or did you follow a tutorial here which you can find on the blog.
I'm curious.

I wanted to buy akvis but i think it is quite expensive ?

Since I use Photoshop Elements for scrapping, any edits I do are done in PSE as well. Depending on what I want for a particular page, I will use a photo as is or blend it various ways. I have a couple of tutorials and actions that I have used as well, but everything is in PSE.

I only edit my photo's in photoshop. I don't have a special programm for it. I'm not that gooed in edting photo's, not with special effects etc. I still want to learn, but time is an issue.

I have some philters on my smart phone but I tend to forget that..I use the filoters from photoshop

Sometimes I edit on my phone first, then in photoshop some but always just playing with blend modes and brushes and stuff. No special apps in photoshop.

Mostly, I edit my photos right in PS, either with preset filters, Image Adjustments, or with Actions. I also have ON1Effects 10 which was a free download a while ago that has a lot of preset filters that you can also customize.
For the most part, I edit my photos only to bring up some saturation/contrast, not as much in funky colors or filters although I did that a lot more a few years ago

I do my editing in PS and I used to have a lot of actions that I used but for some reason they are no longer there and I have no idea where they went LOL. Guess I better start digging through some old files :noidea:

Everything is PS, for my editing. My photos are usually very basic with not much editing.
