Easter Plans

Wow, only one week until Easter. This year is passing by quickly. Does anyone have plans for Easter weekend?

A visiting friend and I are going to my happy place, The Biltmore, and see the gorgeous tulip gardens and all the blooms in the Conservatory. Springtime, at The Biltmore is one of my favorite times to visit. Of course, the tour of the Mansion is always included. haha

What's on your Easter weekend agenda?

We are having family over for dinner Sunday. but other than that we are pretty low key.

Having Easter dinner at the In-Laws and hopefully the weather will be nice! We usually like to have a nice little fire down by the Lake and roast hot dogs and marshmallows and chat into the night. My DH's two sisters will be there also, so it should be a nice visit. We will be splitting wood for FIL on Saturday and then Easter supper Sunday night. It will be a busy time!

We don't celebrate Easter, but my parents do and they are coming to my house for breakfast. Italian Easter pie and Prosecco are the top items on the menu. :hungry:

Kiddo will be dancing at an Easter show on Friday, and a different Easter show on Tuesday, so I'll be playing Dance Mum and dodging crowds. And while she still believes in the Easter Bunny we'll have a little egg hunt in the garden on Sunday.

We'll be spending Easter at my sister's home. It's always a wonderful time with family.

I will be joining the family @ DD#1's for Easter lunch. Baked ham with all the goodies... yummy! The great-grands will be hunting Easter Eggs before we eat. Hoping others take plenty of photos. Will be going straight from church to DD#1's house. My part is easy this time... bringing the wonderful rolls I discovered last week.
