Chris, I'm c/p this so I can find it. I'm up for trying anything.
I am hoping that might help. Harley had two previous types of cancer, both were localized and surgically removed. The last one was lymphoma, she had a large tumor in the lymph node under her jaw. The vet did a biopsy, got the results, and told us to make her comfy. The owner of my local health food store was so knowledgeable and he rec'd the mushroom extract. She lived another 5 years- to 16 1/2 yo.
It isn't the longevity-- I know you know- it is the quality. If this gives her extra time to be loved on, every day is a gift ♥

I am so, so sorry! Fur babies are our family and losing them is so hard. I hope they are able to have more quality time with Marley.

Gosh just saw this...how awful for her. I'm glad to hear she got past it and hopefully will be home soon. Our pets are so much a part of our families. Oh and I love Doodles.

Ohh C. I am sorry to hear this. We all hope for life to be long and good. But sometimes it is good and short. My DIL lost her 11 month old niece two years ago this next week to SIDS. Then she lost her dog of 13 years. Life- short and long, but precious and good. Maybe you can round up the photos of Marley and do a canvas print? Hugs, prayers and hope.
Thanks so much, Amanda. Yes, things don't always work out like they "should". It doesn't make sense, but sometimes it's out of our hands. I'm so sorry about your niece's baby. We believe in the 'natural order" and sometimes it just isn't.

Thank you, Norma. Yes, they're so much a part of our lives. She's home now and we're just loving on her and spoiling her to pieces and taking it day by day.

Thanks so much, Cindy. They are such a part of our lives. Marley got to come home night before last and we're just taking it day by day. We're hoping for a miracle, and just spoiling her to pieces.

Chris, I think I told you that our Bailey had a similar experience - he had cancer and the vet said there was nothing he could do and to take him home and love him. I got him a St. Francis medal (like the one I just got Marley) and he lived about five more years. We're hoping for a miracle, but I will see about that mushroom extract. You know I'm big into herbal medicine.

Thank you, Zanthia. That's exactly what we're hoping for - a miracle. My youngest granddaughter (the only one who still lives at home) has given up everything except going to school to spend all of her time with Marley. She takes her to Tropical Smoothie and Starbucks every day for the "pup treats". Alyssa, my GD, is devoting all her free time to Marley. This is a big sacrifice because Alyssa is a devotee of going to the gym every day and she's given that up. She's even taken a leave from her job, which she loves and makes lots of tips. She has taken over the ten pills/twice a day routine too. Marley is on a very rigid med routine and Alyssa has to do lots of specific things to get Marley's meds ready.
