Do you use an online recipe organizer or meal planner?

I used to use Yummly, but last month, it disappeared and I lost everything I had saved. It was partially my fault. I typically only used the web browser version over the app. Having old lady eyes means that staring at the small text on my phone gives me a headache. :D From what I can tell, the notice that the site and app were shutting down only showed up on the app so I was shocked when I logged into Yummly.com and it redirected to KitchenAid.
I've been trying to find something to replace it and haven't found a good one yet. I use the Paprika App on my phone but you have to purchase the desktop version if you want it on your computer. That's a $30 expense I can't justify.

I've used Pinterest and Allrecipes.com in the past, and Pinterest more frequently since Yummly is gone. But I loved the feature on Yummly where you can add recipes to the Meal Plan, so I am looking for something I can use for both tasks.
TIA!

I used Yummly in the past too, but since I don't really like to cook, I only had a couple of recipes saved. I was looking for a cookie recipe for Christmas and saw the notice about it closing. I typically just Google for recipes, and if it's a keeper I just bookmark it in my browser.

Yep, I'm like Evelyn and I google print binder if it its good. Meal plan for me is just dinner and I write a list with dates and add each needed ingredient to AnyList app.

January 25-Chili, cornbread, salad
26-pizza
27 Fend for Self
28 Tacos

Etc. I also add the cookbook abbreviation and page so I can quickly find it. Takes me about an hour (I do monthly menus) to write the dates going down, then fill in all special things I need to plan, like birthdays or holidays, adding dates I wont be cooking like Wednesday when I do church cooking. Then I fill in the dinners, cookbook name and page. As I do each recipe, I add the items needed to my AnyList app. I shop once a month. There are dates I dont cook, like Sunday and I mark them so everyone knows. This list is on my fridge. I also start with fresh produce dinners and work my way to those things that dont spoil or can be frozen. You can do one week at a time or two weeks, depends on how you get paid. We're monthly so I had to learn quickly how to have food for the whole month. I keep lunch items on hand and breakfast but I dont cook them so kids/hubs are on their own.

I’ve been using Recipe Keeper for the past couple of years. If I find recipes online I can copy the link and import it plus I have been slowly scanning in all my old paper recipes. You can create shopping lists with it too. Both of my girls have it so we can share recipes with each other too. There is a free version but I ended up upgrading to the paid version as I had reached my limit.

I looked at this-- it's the same price as Paprika. I love that you can scan in recipes, I don't think Paprika does that.

Zoinks! I use paprika on my phone. Had no idea there was a desktop version and that it costs!
What makes me more irritated is that Paprika has a once-a-year Black Friday sale and it was 50% off. I wish I had paid attention and known that Yummly was getting pulled. I could have justified the $15 to make my life easier. 30 bucks-- not a chance LOL

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I am trying to get away from the huge binder that I have of recipes. Even sorted into sections, mine had gotten way too cumbersome to flip through. Same with the meal planning lists which became scraps of paper all over my desk.

One thing I do with cookbooks is highlight my favorite recipes in the index.
I don't know how you plan meals out for a month. I struggle with one week at a time!

It takes practice. I had to figure out how to not over spend and that meant meal plan. But it took practice. Now its normal and easy. Hope you find an app/program that works for you.
