Am I the only one who can see the "invisible box"???? The "secret" is (for me) - after I put In my name and email address; is to click BESIDE my name. That's when the "box" shows up and I'm able to put in my comment. I was just messing around and that's what made it work. However, I've shared this with a few others and it doesn't seem to work for them. Hence the "invisible box" statement.

hmmm, nah, mine just appears? always has done and looks like this........ then I just click on the name and then email, which both autofill for me, type my text and click Submit. So yeah, there must be some hidden little setting somewhere that needs to be switched on.

Yep, but this isn't working for lots of people. I could not "lasso it" until I accidently clicked beside my name. I think we have gremlins running around in the blog.

There's no lasso, so I used the whip.

This is exactly what I do. And how it looks for me. But mine never post. Just goes into the nether region never to be seen.

I have so many 'nether region' comebacks, but I'm going to go lay down by my dish. Actually listening to Radio Margaritaville and working on a layout.

@JeanneMN @Betty Jo @LauraD and for those that can post okay on the blog it might help to let Cindy what you guys are using as well.

My comments work and I use Brave (but did use Chrome in the past successfully) and OS is Windows 10

I use Firefox with Windows 11. Just left a message on the most recent post to see if it's working for me yet. Didn't work when I left messages several months ago. Nothing has shown up yet, but I'm assuming it has to be okayed by someone.

I saw your comment. Got super excited that maybe it would work for me but not yet. This time I had an idea and put my O name instead of just my name thinking maybe. But we shall see. I'll wait a little and check again but it was not an instant posting.

I think possibly the comments have to be okayed before they show up, Tracy. Mine didn't show up immediately, but when I checked back after a while, it was there.

I hadn't even noticed the photo, Trudy, until you mentioned it. Mine is showing an old photo I don't even use anymore. I wonder how that happened! Our blog is truly full of mysteries, isn't it?

I see Betty Jo's comments with photo. I see Ona's comments with photos. I see Trudys comments no photos. I see Cindys comments and photos. I'm a ghost no one can see either comments or photo. No idea why. I wonder if I need to be logged into the shop before I can comment....... hmmmmmmmm might need to try that.

Well it didn't matter for instant posting. Now we wait and see if it mattered for time delayed posting. Somewhere there are about 10-15 comments over the year (5 months) floating in space. They're ghost posts. Beware!

It s connected to a gravatar. I don't know how I got mine or how to change it. LOL

Yes, was trying to think of the name, thanks Susie! yes a gravatar, I remember years and years ago I created one. I was wanting to comment on a blog (can't remember who or when) and it said I had to create a gravatar before I could comment on that particular blog.

Okay, so I just googled gravatar and this is the info if interested https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravatar

Edited to add: I actually logged into the Gravatar site and found where I could change my pic out which I did. yay! tried using my current avatar here but it looked to grainy so used the other pic I had uploaded yonks ago and used it.

Thanks so much, Ona. I went into WordPress and changed mine. It took it about ten minutes to change on the blog, but now the old one is gone and is updated to the avatar I use here at the O.
